Installed this in about 2 hours. Wasn't difficult but took my time being a non-mechanic. Parts were numbered so making sure you were using the right piece was nice. Only hard part was taking out the tiny existing heat sensor but was remedied by using a little wd-40.
As far as performance, it was good and notable. The difference in sound was amazing when taking it past 3000 rpm's (aka gunning it). It has a low beefier throttle. Now it sounds like I have a V-6 engine for sure.
Only con is the intake tube seems cheap because it's plastic. Probably should have opted for the polished one. Doesn't matter really because it's under the hood.

I bought this for my Jeep 2008 Wrangler (JK) . A friend and I installed it and took about 45 minutes. Like with previous statements the hardest part is taking the Air temp monitor off of the old unit. Everything is great and performance is very well noticeable. The only down side is that it whistles at a low RPM when I'm driving. THe whistling is really annoying and almost tempted to rip it out. but for the price and benefits i'll deal with it. Can someone tell me how to stop the whistling effect on this intake?

This is an extremely nice product, once you figure out how to put it in. The 2" x 2" black and white photographs do not show enough background to the Jeep to be especially helpful. They need to address it. Once installed, it does seem to add more pep to start ups at the light and on the highway entrances. A nice product.
