These wine glasses seem to make every bottle of wine taste better. They are beautiful to look at and are very sturdy, despite their delicate look. They don't fit on our top rack of the dishwasher (although the description does say they are dishwasher safe), so we hand wash them. They are worth this extra effort. Highly recommend!

The set of two champagne glasses from iittala exemplifies finnish design. The essence stemware collection consist of 4 essential pieces, including this 7-ounce champagne glass. According to the designer, alfredo haberli, the thinking behind the design collection was to have as few pieces as possible while still being able to serve a full range of wines/champagnes. Each glass is firmly balanced and feels comfortable in hand. The bowl diameter at the top is 1-3/4- inch. The bowl is 4-inch top to bottom and then 9-inch tall including the stem. Dishwasher safe. Made in Denmark.
